I) This actually happened, my nephew who is steadying VIT, He got 98% in C,

96% in C++ ,
then I said wow , great ,, really ,, so what is the difference between C and C++
can any one guess the answer???
nephew: Teacher never told -
Then I said so what, you must be knowing right.. ?
nephew: umm its not important for exam.

II) Another Example: My Niece, steadying BioTech 3rd year,

me:So, you want to do Msc in USA,

she said yes..
me: what you want to do ??
she: Food Tech,
me: I asked why,
She: Everyone suggesting , Bioinformatics, I don't' like it , I
want to do FoodTechnology
me: Wow great (wow becoz she is interested to do
something ) , why food tech
She: I like it.
Me: What do like in it? what do you know and what kind of
job you are going to do?
She: Umm... I need to do more research
Me: You said, you liked it , "IS THE SOUND" you liked or
what!!!

III) Another Example ???? Computer science girl, passed great more than 70% ..
some doomed university. I pingged her after 2 years of her graduation.

Me: if you really want to get good job in real MNC (HYD or Banglore ) I can help,
since you have some limitations that you can't leave Vijayawada. Prepare for
AWS certification (basic certification) then I will prepare resume and give some
project to experience/talk in the interview .. give me 3 months (20hrs/week) I will
get you job.

She said...I want to be DATA scientist,

Me: Well that's great, do you know what you need to be a DATA scientist ?
She: Yah, I want to learn R program
Me: What else ??
She: May be some python programming
Me: What else ???
She: umm .. I think ..
Me: Then prepare resume right ?,
She: Yah..
Me: then.. I stopped.. talking to her :-)

How to fit into a job and sell our self's -- If we are choosing job means we are
trying to fit into the existing business model.

If we don't want to fit into the existing model and want to work on what you want
to work and do passionate things, then you should start your own business.

You want a JOB becoz you think this is easy way...

I want to tell a sad reality for people who thinks definitely I don't want to do
business is different from I want to do but its more difficult than getting JOB, at
present in India getting job is tough task than starting new business!

I want to do business but I don't have money, I don't know how to start , Though I
have an idea not too sure how I do it... bla bla then read my other articles "How

So how to fit into the "JOB" that we are looking...

Preparing for any job mostly in private companies where you have lot of
competition, business changes dynamically for that matter rapidly. Need to learn
new skills, Its not like a Govt company, if you hire a donkey for service it doesn't
automatically promote to Horse status based on the experience. so on the other
hand in private company, if you hire a bull, company use it like a dog, The bull will
shit out of it and get into better company. So the bottom line is are you a BULL or
DONKEY!

Human species has special quality, we keep changing ..don't ask which direction,
don't ask me when..becoz there are million billion neurons that determines. So
letz hope that you are all hungry bulls want to learn or think different.

If you really asking yourself, what I am missing, I WANT TO KNOW ... RIGHT
NOW!!!! - Can anyone tell I am open to listen...do whatever it takes or wants. If
you have that kind of attitude, simple answer is, "YOU ARE NOT
EXPERIENCING THE EDUCATION"!!!

A professional course is a college-level course designed to target those who are

in, or about to enter, the workforce in corporate, government or technology fields.
By definition, as soon as you finish the course or finish the graduation you
become the WORKFORCE!!! With little training. Why even training you know,
because business customizes based on their requirement add something or
remove something, alter.. you know the drill!

students may say we are experiencing, doing practical’s, writing the exam ,
attending viva! Getting GOOD MARKES, what else we can do??

I agree,
you are doing as an individual thing (this chapter, this question etc,),
you are gaining information on that chapter,
if you really understand that may become knowledge but you don't have
WISDOM!

How to gain that WISDOM!

Let me run by example: We all know BIGDATA, DATA scientist, DATA

ANALYTICS etc... (wow pretty big names, very lucrative huh)

Can anyone tell to be a "DATA scientist", what you need (assume you all belongs
to computer science) ?
R program ?
BIGDATA (Hadoop) ??
.. company knowledge .. let me correct Domain knowledge alright. what else...
Ok, SQL, good to have python programming experience....... OK.. what else
how many of you know or good in statistics, probability, you need that
background.

So, who is good in statistics, probability can get a job by learning R or python
with basic SQL or no SQL experience he can get a job! (Becoz he has great
domain or business knowledge than you have), He knows how the business
works, how to do stats, probability.. the tool may be complementing what he
wants to do!

First of all - ZOOM OUT,

Know

What kind of role that you are looking for.

What kind of tools/skills that I need.
Who using that tool/skill & why?
What is their business model?
What domain that business belongs (To gain Domain

domain)

Read about

The domain knowledge (ex: finance, market, service etc..)

The business model/cycle (ex: SDLC, product lifecycle management)
Basic Knowledge that is required in each department

Understand

Eco system for that role you are looking (what is must, good to have)
For your role (ex: developer, PRODUCTION Engineer), whom you depend on ,
who is depends on you. Understand their roles and responsibility.
Understand your strengths, weakness (skill's that you can learn, do you need to
adjust what you want to do, mould yourself)

Then ZOOM-IN

Master:

Master the Must haves (Even in must have's see what is deal breaker, if you
have to have, then you should)
If it is easy master the good to have's (you get promotion easily)

How to sell -

Experiment / Project with latest technology, improvise:

Know/talk why you think this is the best way or justify (lack of resources, funding,
timing etc..), then tell alternate way
Publish/join the user groups, networking, reach out people:

The simple answer to this, "Forget what you/I want, think what he wants" - Do I
have what he wants, he(company) is a bargainer want to buy CHEAP & BEST
commodity -

Peoples say I did my best ..that's BS (bull shit) tell your mother or father they
may listen but society is brutal, competitive market is ruthless (he may do a
charity if you try to knock some other door) but when it comes to bargain - Its not
"what you can" is enough. Are you able to compete what market demands... I am
talking in terms of skill, knowledge not the experience or degree etc.. there are
something you can't change .. I don't know English, all my education was Telugu
medium. Go learn English. Your generation has no right to give any excuses
except it is unchangeable what year you born :-) I mean passed out :-D

Ok, Let me ask you, can you tell me what you want to tell in your own language
5 minutes and ready for 5 min Q&A on what you told? Can you .. be honest ..
So the language is not communication, it is a medium to express what we
already know. All you need to know is Tense and little bit of word power. go to

learn both. Now you know the difference between when to use "Is & Was" -
Prepare some interesting concept not subject (the favorite move you like) then
explain the story to your friend - Then you will understand, the problem is not the
language it is about clarity. You can come across you weakness ( not able to
speak in English) by your strength..(like working more time, understanding the
concept until you digest, Why this has to be done this way only!)

For example: How long it takes for you to read a two pages OOP's concept ? A
day, two, 3 ?
I took one week it was my early days converting Mech Engineering into Comp -
there are so much garbage (at least to me ) out there , SQL, SQL PLUS, SQL
Star, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, Ms SQL Server, - Similarly there is C and C++
(people say C is called a structured programming language and C++ you know)
Okay, structured means .. you write sequence of steps.. executed in sequence
manner.. bla bla.. now C++ OOP's , mind you there was no Internet at that time
(year 1995) -
Why oop's introduced it is more relevant to the human evolution or thinking
........long story short ..after a week I started see OOP's everywhere in the nature,
whatever I see I can apply OOP's concept! .. It is digested such away in me that..
no one able ask me what are actual C++ commands or functions. Later I learned

3 Friends watched Bahubali the begining , same theater, same time, sat together
- What do you after coming out of theater. Quietly we go home and sleep right ?
No we TALK, we share, Kattappa .. pull the sward.. (do you think your friend
didn't see the movie???) - huh......???

What I am trying to say is, We want to add our creativity, observation, interest
etc.. Even when we learning our professional course also, if you experience the
education .. Common man .. how he got that idea. He is great, praise the author,
appreciate the machine/invention (For example: The more you compare JAVA
with C++, you know why we need JAVA... Java been raising like phoenix bird)
Even I am telling if you master just JAVA - You can live happily.

How to be on TOP ten shortlisted candidates for any JOB ??

--Is there a way that you can show/present that you really done something during
graduation - (It's easy since we know "How fit in the market")
--Aware of what's happening at the global level (I am telling reading EENADU
education or youth editions other than main page is good enough :-D), don't read
and forget discuss with your friends.
--There are so many discussion boards, alumni, (start the network in the direction
you want to go)
--The more you are getting closer to the market (that means, finishing the
graduation.. Try to develop a spearhead attitude.
In the HOW TO FIT, I told you don't be like Arjuna (not only bird's eye)... now try
to zoom-in back to see the BIRD's EYE. Now you are not seeing, you are trying
read her mind!.
(That means, how it can be used, what is the latest technology in it, what kind of
job market it will create, how to present myself etc..)
-- Start searching the Job that you want to do, See the requirements, roles and
responsibility frequently see how many results coming (increase or decrease)
adjust your goal accordingly.

Its not how much you read/know/understand/work - How best you are answer the
Question is the KEY!

if you understand ZOOM-OUT/IN, then the bigger goal is, where you want to see
yourself in the future, this will open different possibilities and you will touch the
WISDOM that will lead to be a problem solver, entrepreneur , CEO of the
company etc...

(I always says, think of fielder's mind who try to catch the ball - He never thought,
where I am putting my hands, I am gonna bump someone or not..etc.. he kept his
on the BALL, that will lead him to the success)

To do all these things, a GOOD Team is needed, not necessarily they have to
agree whatever BS you say. As long as they don't convert you DONKEY, that's
fine! Revive - Realize.
