I teach pre-kinder section 1 today a math lesson which was about number 2. I started the lesson by doing
morning routine and than I ask my student to close their eyes and count with me, than I show them how
we write number 2 and than I let them use rock and flash card to write number 2.

What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?
The lesson was for pre-kinder student, I start my lesson in the circle area and the center. My goals for
this Leeson plan was to teach children how we write number 2. In this lesson the student was so excited
for the activity, and they enjoy doing all activities that I made.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
How well did you engage the students?

The student feel pleasure to do all activities, because it was new idea for the activity, some of them know
number 2 before I give them, and those was so encage to do all activity and they answer all my question.
I encage my student in the circle time by us the box and let them give me 2 object and count with me,
and use number 2 flash card. In the next time I will make activity for each child in the class.

My lesson meets my goals because in the end of the class most of them know how we write number 2. I
assess my student in the end.

What are the implications for your professional practice?
In the future I will let all student in circle do the activity, I will use technology like for example include
number song in the begging. I think I will change the science activity to put only number 1 and 2.
