iPad app: Puppet Pals, iTranslate

Directions:
1. Use Puppet Pals to create an animated story in Spanish.
a. Follow the instructions on the app before you start.
b. Time limit: 5 minutes
c. Per group, write on a separate sheet of paper the dialogue in Spanish (SEE
SAMPLE).
2. Create a group of 3-4 students. In groups:
a. Each student must participate in one character of the story.
b. The story contains an introduction, climax, and conclusion.
c. The story content has a Spanish cultural event/concept.
d. The story must be spoken in Spanish.
3. Use iTranslate to translate your dialog and when recording your story.
4. Turn in the written dialog and the play story to your teacher.

PART 2:
“Nosotros somos una familia de granjeros. Como vez, mi papá tiene una granja. Aquí en esa casa
nosotros vivimos. Mamá recolecta los frutos de los árboles y papá trabaja dentro de la granja con
los animales. Dentro de la granja, tenemos gallinas y pollitos que tenemos que cuidar para
producir huevos.”

“Mi hermano y yo montamos a caballo para ir a la escuela. No tenemos escuelas bonitas como la
cuidad, pero tenemos una pequeña escuela que podemos estudiar en nuestro tiempo libre. Mi
caballo es mi transporte, pero también mi mascota.”

“En fin, me gustaría ir a la universidad para ayudar a mis papás en su granja y para que vivamos
felices. ¡Adiós!”
