It is Time for the Roma People to Raise up and Secure

their Own Destinies:

A new future with the World Roma Federation a fresh new start with a progressive and innovative
vision.

We are the Roma people, the disenfranchised; nomadic tribal people forced from our

homes to roam and face many persecutions throughout history, the unwanted ones. Regardless of

our past, we are a people who maintain rich culture, history, and unity through preservation,

which has enabled us to hold on to our chief core values and traditions as social changes

occurred over time. For it is our pride, strong beliefs, and adaptability, which strengthened the

countenance of our people. As a people, we refused to waiver and chose to stand firm in the face

of our oppressors, as we demanded basic human rights, equality and justice throughout all the

great lands of Europe. For the past eighty years, long after our people were forced into
concentration camps, suffering great indignities as well as near extinction by the hands of the

Nazis during WWII, our people are still voiceless and persecuted.

Unfortunately, our people have been poorly characterized and misrepresented for years,

is it not time that we induct a legislative body in Europe willing to fight for the civil rights of our

people. A congressional body that will uphold their promises, in retrospect to education, health

and wellness, better living conditions and integration. The World Roma Federation is the very

organization along with its presidents and legislative appointed body that will do just that, work

for the betterment of the Roma people.

Despondently, it has come to our attention a few groups of people within the Roma populace

have begun to openly vocalize and print defamatory and unfounded bias against our organization

to impede our organizations vision for the Roma people located both in and outside of Europe.

For too long, so called, Roma representatives such as IRU member Zoran Dimov of Macedonia

and Nurtmond Rudevich Latvia elected European appointees advocating to improve the lives of

the Roma people both in Europe and abroad have done absolutely nothing. They sit back and

collect funds from European governments and do they use these funds for the

betterment of the Roma people, no, they do not, our people are still suffering, it is time for the

Roma people to wake up and take back their own destinies.

Let me pose a few questions for you the reader to mull over and ponder:

1. What have these European delegates done for you?

2. Where are the schools and educational programs they promised?

3. Where are the outreach programs?
4. Where are the health and wellness facilities for the Roma people?
5. Where are our voice in politics in terms of our civil rights and liberties?
6. Why are these delegates not pushing legislative for the public safety and
security of the Roma people?
7. What are their integration policies, how will they execute them into existence
and when will this happen?

The political corruption and malevolence of our appointed delegates endured by we the

Roma people have gone on for too long. Is it not about time for us to raise up and take back our

people and tell you our vision for the Roma as it pertains to health care, education, public

security and a more unified and prosperous Roma.
