Getting to the BASIC Difference :
Wobble of the earth or the Precession of the equinoxes
Ancient Vedic sages were aware of the fact that the earth changes its tilt or “wobbles” on its axis.
Without the aid of telescopes or modern technology they calculated that the orientation of the equinoxes to
the fixed stars precedes or moves backwards through the zodiac at a rate of about 50.3 seconds per year, or
about 1 degree every 72 years.
This phenomenon is known as the “precession of the equinox”. The Sun actually is at the time of the spring
equinox moves backward through the zodiac. Sidereally speaking,
E.g.year 2003, the sun was at 6 degrees 03 minutes of Pisces, at the spring equinox. Therefore, the current
mathematical difference as of March 21st 2003 between the two zodiacs is 23 degrees 57 minutes.
Historical Alignment of the two zodiacs Historically

it’s generally agreed, that the two zodiacs were in alignment with one another about the year 285 A.D.
with both ephemeris’s listing the passage of the Sun into Aries at the spring equinox. So what happened?

General Rule of thumb

Female planets (Moon, Venus)(15 Virupas/points) auspicious if they are placed in in Even Rasi/Navamsa
Male planets (Sun, Mars, Jupiter) and neutral planets (Mercury, Saturn) get (15 Virupas points) auspicious if they are
placed in in odd Rasi/Navamsa
The Moon spends approximately 2.3 days in each
zodiac sign during the month.
Nakshatras are more refined divisions within a zodiac

sign.
Each nakshatra runs 13 degrees 20 minutes in length.

One zodiac sign = total of 30 degrees.
Each Zodiac = 26 degrees and 4 mins + 3 degrees 20

minutes for the next nakshatra to be contained in that
same zodiac sign.
So each Zodiac = 2 nakshatras plus 3 degrees 20 mins

of next one.

Rich symbolism of the Nakshatras each Nakshatra also corresponds with a certain animal, animal type,
caste, sex, temperament, dosha, tattva (element) and even winddirection.
Impulses (gunas) of the planets and their Nakshatras which give them their unique behaviour patterns.
1. Sattva - the illuminating, pure or good quality. Truth, purity of purpose and self righteousness and the path towards eternal
consciousness is important to Sattvic people. They are fearless, generous and self- controlled. They are tranquil, charitable and
generally have an open mind. Sattvics find it hard to hurt others. Water is pure Sattva. Vegetarians are sattvic by nature- choosing to eat
what is provided by nature rather than killing to fulfil their appetites.
2. Rajas - the quality of mobility or activity. They have great inner thirst. They are passionate and ambitious. They want to achieve.
They are restless and insecure. They want everything. They are active, want recognition and respect but are never satisfied. They find
themselves clinging to pleasant tasks but avoiding the difficult situations. They can be fickle, easily distracted and unsteady.
3. Tamas - the dark restraining quality. They are generally sensuous, in love with all the good things in life which restrain them from
higher learning and knowledge. They are materialistic in nature. Maya -the illusionary world of self gratification and sensual living ties
them to their desires. Tamasic people have to try very hard to get out of the ignorance that surrounds them. They are held down by
their own needs. Yoga and meditation is required to strengthen their inner being if they want to move towards higher consciousness.
Ruling Planets :
Venus is a planet that has to do with love and lust. To get what we want we move into action (Rajas).
The result of this action is that we are going deeper into material life (Tamas).
The Sun is a fiery planet (Rajas), however it represents the soul in the chart and has therefore Sattva
characteristics.
Jupiter too is a fiery planet (Rajas), but again has Sattva characteristics because is the planet of the Guru
and inner wisdom.
Saturn is a spiritual planet, because it is the planet of Sannyas (renouncing the world). We all know
Saturn represents matter and therefore also Tamas.
Rahu has the same energies as Saturn only in a different order. It brings us deep into material life
(Tamas). However, it only is doing this so we are able to outlive everything that this earth has to offer
and then liberate ourselves (Sattva).

then apply same rules as above
3. Nodes in Natal D1 chart and in D9 Navamsa chart. Often the Nodal axis in the
Navamsa chart of one person will have connections with the moon or ascendant in
the natal chart of the other person. Its a very high chance.
4. 7th house ruler from Moon , Venus will give you a clear indication of what one is
looking for in a partner and will have planets around it.
5. DIE HARD DURABILITY ASPECT
If the 7th house rulers in the D1 natal chart, are in conjunction or close opposition
to each other, the relationship will have a very strong foundation to LAST!
6.Harmony of Sun aspects

If both the natal placement of Suns are in angular (kendra), Trines (kona) then
they have a very strong chance of ‘producing’ from children to creative stuff
If the Sun signs are in 6th/8th from each other Sadastaka OR Dvirdvadasa will give
difficulties , sorrow and Loss etc
CHECK THE LORDS OF THE SUN SIGNS to see what angle they are at. Are they
angular, trine or 2/12 from each other?
If the Sun signs are in 3/11 from each other , there may be a potential for loss ,
and its a alright ‘relating’

7.Mangalika Placement of Mars in certain houses generates ‘Mangalika’
Dosh/blemish. Ancient Sages have listed houses 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th & 12th
