THIS ITINERARY IS DESIGNED AND RECOMMENDED FOR CHILL HIKERS, PABEBE CLIMBERS, FIRST
TIMER/BEGINNERS and SOCIAL CLIMBERS (PLEASE READ THE DEFINITION OF TERMS)
KULOD (in Tagalog KULOT or WAVY/CURLY Hills and Ridges of Mount Isarog)
DAY 1
8:00am – 8:30 am From Jump Off to Main Entrance of the Pitong Kulod Trail
(the entry point of Main Entrance has Water Source)
8:30am – 9:00am TREE PLANTING and Side Trip to Japanese Imperial Army Tunnel
2:00pm - 4:00 pm From 3rd KULOD to 4th KULOD Set Camp at 4th Kulod PINAKSOLAN CAMP
ADVANTAGE
( 4th KULOD also known as PINAKSOLAN ,derived from the English Word
FOXHOLES or PAKSOL in Bicol , 4th KULOD is the former Japanese Imperial Army
Camp where 40 Foxholes were dug in as a form of defensive and ambush
strategic maneuver against American Forces during the Second World War)
(Splendid view of Sunset and City Lights of 3rd and 2nd district of Camarines Sur)
DISADVANTAGE
The nearest water source is located at 5th KULOD , only the Porters and Guides
are authorized to Fetch water because of extreme danger in carrying heavy
loads ( if you want to help the Guides and Porters, HELP at YOUR OWN RISK )
(Most of Pabebe and Social Climbers cannot anymore proceed to 5th KULOD due
to extensive exhaustion)
*the 5th KULOD is also a good camp site located in the nearest water source,
however it can only accommodate 10 to 20 tents and this camp site is
suitable for Hammocks not tents, moreover the splendid view from 4th
KULOD is not visible in 5th KULOD camp site.
*while the hikers are setting their Camps the Guides and Porters will Fetch
water located at 5th KULOD, only the Porters and Guides are authorized to Fetch
water because of extreme danger in carrying heavy loads ( if you want to help
the Guides and Porters, HELP at YOUR OWN RISK
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm from 4th Kulod to 5th Kulod set camp at 5th Kulod RESEARCHERS CAMP
This campsite serve as the central station of the Researchers that re-track the
war trails of Mt.Isarog
*the 5th KULOD is also a good camp site located in the nearest water source,
however it can only accommodate 10 to 20 tents and this camp site is
suitable for Hammocks not tents, moreover the splendid view from 4th
KULOD is not visible in 5th KULOD camp site.

10:00am – 11:30am START DESCEND From Summit to 4th KULOD Pack up of Camp Site
( Leave no trace Policy , any hiker/s liable of leaving any Garbage in the camp
site will suffer a lifetime BAN in MT. ISAROG and the name of the said Violator
will be forwarded and recommended for further restrictions to all National
Parks and Protected Areas of the Philippine Republic )

This Itinerary is subject to changes depending in the pacing, weather conditions and other unforeseen
circumstances that may occur.
DAY 2 this time frame is designed for hikers that set their camps at 5th Kulod or RESEARCHERS CAMP

9:00am – 10:30 am START DESCEND From Summit to 5th KULOD Pack up of Camp Site
( Leave no trace Policy , any hiker/s liable of leaving any Garbage in the camp
site will suffer a lifetime BAN in MT. ISAROG and the name of the said Violator
will be forwarded and recommended for further restrictions to all National
Parks and Protected Areas of the Philippine Republic )
NOTE:
This Itinerary is subject to changes depending in the pacing, weather conditions and other unforeseen
circumstances that may occur.
This itinerary is purely based on the hypothetical analysis with technical calculations by the Research
Team who re-traced the war trails of Mt.Isarog, since the latter were not considered mountaineers this
itinerary do not display the actual and exact details of pacing, movement and speed to be covered by a
legitimate mountaineers/hikers.
