Evidencia 1: Vocabulary and pronunciation workshop “Logistics process

improvement”

Para un profesional en cualquier campo de acción, en este caso el Tecnólogo en

Gestión Logística, es necesario usar el idioma inglés como herramienta de
comunicación de sus ideas y apreciaciones acerca de un proceso en el cual tiene
directa participación. Contar con las habilidades requeridas para expresarse en
inglés representa una ventaja y hace más fácil el proceso en caso que el idioma a
usar para dichas actividades sea éste o en caso de que la bibliografía o textos a
consultar estén escritos en dicha lengua. Por ello, con la construcción de esta
evidencia adquirirá el vocabulario, estructuras, frases y tips de pronunciación para
que pueda desenvolverse con fluidez y coherencia en inglés en el momento que
tenga que participar en un proceso evaluativo de los procesos antes realizados y
además presentar soluciones correctivas y discutir acerca de ellas para realizar
planes de mejoramiento.

La evidencia se enfoca en que pueda entender, usar y pronunciar vocabulario en

inglés relacionado con planes de mejoramiento logístico, convirtiéndose en una
herramienta para sustentar dichas mejoras en compañías internacionales o cuando
lo requiera en cualquier ámbito.

Para dar cumplimiento a esta evidencia, debe realizar el taller de vocabulario a partir
de la lectura del artículo “Improve Logistics Efficiency”, que encuentra
continuación, y enviarlo junto con una grabación con su pronunciación de las
palabras que se solicitan.

When it comes to business logistics (logística empresarial), continuous

improvement (mejora) is necessary to facilitate robust and sustained growth.

Consider these four methods to increase logistics efficiency:
