INTRODUCTION
MEMBERSHIP
The ministry currently has twenty-five (25) members, ten (10) of which can be classified as active with
the other fifteen (15) being otherwise.
Within the earlier stated period, we had twenty-two visitations, twenty general meetings and two
executive meetings.
For major programmes, we had five successful trips to the SOS children’s home and an equally
successful happy family celebration each semester.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. The Ministry though very limited in number, was able to reach virtually all the first years on
campus as well as some continuing students who are resident on campus.
2. Also, together with members of the Excellent Youth Outreach (EYO), the ministry shared Christ
with the residents of the SOS children’s home at Asokore Mampong.
CHALLENGES
1. A major challenge to the ministry was membership and it got difficult reaching the entire Pax
Romana populace with just a few of us (members).
2. Also, financial constraints have posed a challenge to the Ministry, thus causing the cancellation
of some of its programmes.
1. First, the ministry should not be totally reliant on Pax for the funding of its programmes.
2. The Pax executive body should also make sure that the Chaplain is made aware of planned
programmes early in the semester to avoid inconveniences.
PROJECTIONS/FUTURE PLANS
1. To bring on board more members so as to reach and share Christ with members of the Pax
family and beyond.
2. To be able to embark on the subgroup’s outreaches during the festive seasons.
