Introduction 1. Inform students to gather at the carpet for a writers

add to our anchor chart that we started last class called
“how to write a story”

14. Lets review the three steps it takes to write a story. Step
1 is think of an idea, step 2 is plan and step 3 is write.
15. Under step 2 plan we are going to add touch and tell,
then sketch across pages which is the next writing
technique we just learned.
16. Now you have free writing time to use the touch and tell
technique to write a small moments story.
17. Collect your booklets from the bin and go back to your
desks.
