ASSIGNMENT 1
What are the three ancient expressions of philosophy and how are they related to the human
person?

There are three ancient expressions of philosophy, it is the Indian, the Greek
and the Chinese. These are the Knowledge of Absolute Truth, the Knowledge of Reasoned
Truth, and the Knowledge of Practical Truth. They are related to the Human Person, because a
human person wants to know their way of life and most of them are logical thinkers and lastly,
because of their moral character. We humans think in a broad way. The relationship of the 3
Ancient expressions of philosophy to the human person is how they think deeply. It shows what
people want to discover and of course what the personality of a human is.

The Indian (the Knowledge of Absolute Truth) is where a human person thinks the
identical self. Most likely they use their intuition in their daily life. Philosophy for the Indians is
known by the use of one’s intuitive power. Thus, the Greeks (the Knowledge of Reasoned
Truth) are where a human person became logical thinkers. Most of us find reasons on how
things were, like questions that can be answer through logical thinking. Philosophy for the
Greeks is known by the science of logical epistemic truth attained by the use man’s natural
reason. Lastly, the Chinese (the Knowledge of Practical Truth) is where a human person learns
about their moral life. It shows how a person is interested in the discovery on what it meant to
be a human. Philosophy for the Chinese is known by the science of practical truth attained by
the use of practical reason.

A human person shows on what we live for, how we live, and how we show our moral
life. These are the relationship of the three ancient expression of philosophy to a human person.
It is basically the life of the person and it's our responsibility on how we take care of it.
