•Have access to Oracle Cloud, if not, try it for free.

•Have installed the Oracle Cloud Backup Services module
•Ensure your database is in ARCHIVELOG mode
•Ensure you are encrypting your backups
•Ensure that your RMAN Auto backup controlfile is ON.
• If this is not enabled on the source database when doing the Cloud Backup, this complete
replication process will fail.
Note: If using Oracle Standard Edition with a version lower then 12.2 you could hit the bug 18339044. This bug says that backup
encryption requires Enterprise Edition. To solve this issue please apply the patch Patch 18339044 to your database
