Council President Murphy called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm and read the
Open Public Meetings Statement:

The notice requirements provided for in the “Open Public Meetings Act” have
been satisfied. Notice of this meeting was properly given in a notice which was
transmitted to the Times of Trenton and the Trentonian, filed with the Clerk of the
Township of Ewing and posted in the Ewing Township Municipal Complex, all on
the 2nd day of June, 2010.

Charles Green (979 Bear Tavern Rd) asked about the new business
agenda and about the tax levy resolution in particular. Mayor Ball
indicated that the proposal would in fact be a reduction in the tax rate.

COUNCIL REPORTS

President Murphy discussed the proposed trash ordinance and the proposed
hearing on the renewal of Erini’s Restaurant liquor license. After discussion,
Council decided to hold a Special Meeting on July 6, 2010 at 6:00 pm to hold the
hearing and consider the renewal.

Charles Green (979 Bear Tavern Road) asked about the public interest channel with
Verizon. Mayor Ball responded.

Mayor Ball supplied Mrs. Wollert and Council with information regarding the cost
per ton and overall coosts associated with the disposal of trash.

There being no further business, President Murphy called for a motion to adjourn.
