decision making by providing relevant, accurate and
timely (RAT) information.

We understand that the actual quality of the product will be based in the roots, in this
case fieldwork, and therefore we have the following field quality assurance
steps.
• Careful selection , evaluation and grading of team members.
• Matching of profile of team members with those of respondents.
• Professional training using manuals and classroom briefing from experienced
trainers.
• Pre-testing of atleast 5-7 interviews.
• Practice interviews, and mock interviewing sessions.
• Evaluate interviewer’s performance through field accompaniment and/or tape
recorded interviews.
• In-take edit: Checking consistency, quality and meaningfulness of responses
right in front of interviewers.
• Verification of coding and through re-checking of coded questionnaire.
• Verification: Re-interviewing 10-15% respondents to verify accuracy of
responses.
• Double punch of 25% data will be practiced.
• Proofing and checking of variable/value labels before data processing.
• Cross examination of analysis program by senior analyst.
