ORDER:

The Commissioner of Industries has stated that the

Government of India has enacted Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises(MSME) Development Act on 16th June, 2006 duly
amending the Industrial Developments and Regulation Act 1951.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Micro, small and Medium Enterprises
has been created by merging the Ministry of Small Scale
Industries and Ministry of Agro and Rural Industry.

2) The Industries and Commerce Department has,

therefore requested to change the nomenclature of the subject
“Small Scale Industries” figured in A.P.Govt. Business Rules and
Secretariat Instructions under the heading 15. Industries and
Commerce Department as “Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises”.

3) After careful consideration, Government hereby change

the nomenclature of the subject “Small Scale Industries” figured
in the first schedule of A.P. Government Business Rules and
Secretariat Instructions under the heading 15. Industries and
Commerce Department as “Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises “
with immediate effect.

4) The General Administration(Cabinet) Department are

requested to take necessary action for issue of suitable
amendment to the first schedule of A.P. Government Business
Rules and Secretariat Instructions.
