SESQUITERPENICAS EN LA ALCACHOFA.

RESUMEN.
SUMMARY
Objective: To determine which sesquiterpenic compounds contain the artichoke.
Materials and Methods: To extract the compounds from the artichoke was obtained by simple
distillation, from 10g of sample. Then with a reextraction separating the organic phase and ethanol
phase, the latter evaporates until obtaining the necessary to proceed to quantification and
observe the compounds of the artichoke, with the mobile phase of chloroform, acetone and water
and using reveledaores as Vanillin and sulfuric acid. Results: The different compounds of the
artichoke were observed through UV rays, the most important being cynaropicrin and other
compounds such as chlorogenic acid, cynarin.
