Delivery stage, preparation stage, installation stage, commissioning stage and also the
safety and environment controls associated with these works. A flow chart of the work
activities is presented on the following page to show the sequence of activities involved.
4. Responsibilities
All works will be overseen by Project Manager, Project Engineers or Team Leaders
executed by the sub-contractor, Jenmon International Pte Ltd. Lifting operations shall be
executed and controlled by competent certified training personnel; Safety Supervisor, Lifting
Supervisor, Signal man and Rigger.

certified trained personnel; Safety Supervisor, Lifting Supervisor, Signal man and Rigger.
c) Working at Height
Workers working at height on top of the boom lift shall be executed and supervised
by competent certified trained personnel; Safety Supervisor and Signalman /
Banksman.
6. Crane Specification
Gantry Crane Specification takes reference as Design Drawing. Design Drawing with Crane
Specification is attached in Appendix C: Crane Specification.
7. Reference
-Attached lifting Plan.
8. Methodology
a) Check and confirm the straightness of the runway and leveling from the beginning
point to the end from the alignment report by Runway Sub-contractor.
b) For the marking of the straight-line on the runways will be conduct by the workers
using the boom lift in order to install the Sq. rails on the runway beam according
by crane span-length.
c) Lorry (Jenmon) will be using for the delivery of Rails and offloading shall be done by
manually. Mobile crane shall be used the lifting up rail on top of the runway beams
(within SWL).
d) Delivery route will be using Singtec Main-Gate, in order to go in to the site access.
e) Site supervisor and installation team shall monitor the deliver and lift-up the
installation of Rails.
f) Once Rails lift up to above of runway level, welder will start the tack- welding of the rail
to the runway by using boom-lift. After that, welder will precede the fillet welding of Sq.
rail to the runways. (This will be offset fillet-weld)
g) During installation of the Sq. rails must be stand by fire-extinguisher, fire blanket and
look-out man.
a) Delivery and offloading of Crane structures, Hoist and components to the site
-1 unit of long trailer will be using for the delivery of girder structures, hoist and component.
The list of delivery materials as shown as below
Crane main girder – 2 pcs
Crane end-carriage - 2 Pcs
Crane Service platform – 1 set (completed)
Crane Hoist with components – 1 set
b) Offloading of the main girder, hoist and components
-1 unit of the 50T mobile crane will be using for the offloading of the crane structures,
service platform, hoist and component. (Subject to use 2 units of lorry crane)
-Offloading at designated area and proper barricaded (or) signaled
-Refer to the lifting plan for offloading of crane structure and components.
-After that install the support bracket (50x 50x5mm) on the runway using tack-weld in order to
secure the end-carriage with the runways.
-Check the alignment and leveling of the end-carriage in order to install the main girders.
g) Electrical Works on the Accessories, Components and Devices of the Gantry Crane Structure
- Installation of all other components on the gantry crane with boom lift.
-Connect electrical termination inclusive welding of bas bar bracket and assembly of bas bar
brackets.
-Install electrical/control equipment such as pendent, festoon system onto the crane control
panel / box.
-Hoist electrical termination will be done by customer. Internal electrical termination includes
hoist to control panel, festoon system and etc.
-All joined parts to be checked properly, secured tightly and bolted accordingly.
-Hoist motor, limit switches, long travel motor, cross travel motor shall be tested for the
functionality and the brakes efficiency at a level.
-MOM-PE/AE shall conduct load testing and measure girders deflection for the gantry crane in
accordance with 125% overload of it SWL under MOM Authorised requirement.
-MOM-PE/AE shall register & issued with the approved load test LM certificate from MOM upon
