DIAGNOSIS OF THE CURRENT SYSTEM OF COMPILATION OF SOLID

RESIDUES IN VILLAVICENCIO- META

The Bioagricola company S.A is the manager of the public domiciliary service of bathroom
in the components of sweep, cleanliness of routes, public areas, compilation, transport of
solid domiciliary, commercial residues and final disposition by means of techniques of
sanitary landfill. In the following project there was realized the diagnosis of the current
system of compilation of solid residues, it was suggested a methodology of observational,
descriptive, qualitative and quantitative type; initially the current system of compilation was
identified and described, followed to this, there was carried out a bibliographical review of
different models used worldwide, with the principal aim to select those who sharing similar
characteristics to those of the current system; These models were evaluated using a
comparison counterfoil by points and that model who obtained a biggest score carried out the
comparison opposite to the system of compilation used in Villavicencio's city. For the
compilation of information it was necessary to realize diverse interviews to civil servants of
the company also to experts of different organizations in order to know the functioning and
the variables of the compilation system. In the same way a survey was realized to the users,
taking as population the Villavicencio citizens which the sample was calculated applying a
statistical equation, giving like result a total of 384 persons to polling, There was guaranteed
a statistical ideal analysis, taking the application as a point of reference of different sectors
with a biggest influences in the city. There was identified that the system of current
compilation isn’t the most adapted to guarantee an efficient and competitive operation, since
it has environmental and operational failings like lixiviados generation and breaches in the
schedules of compilation, among others; For this, after made the valuation of models who
might be assignable to the city and to compare the biggest score that with the current model,
it was determined that the most suitable is containers model for its decrease of environmental
impacts and costs operations, as well as the perception improvement of users with the
service.

 COMPILATION SISTEM OF SOLID RESIDUES USED IN VILLAVICENCIO'S
CITY

The model used for the compilation of solid residues in Villavicencio's city it carries out the
Bioagricola S.A company which realizes the combination of the methods of sidewalk, in the
urban zone and corner or stop fixes in the rural zone, this is because the difficult access of
the collectors vehicles to some communes of the city. The project has as principal aim to
realize the diagnosis of the current system, for this reason there was necessary use
compilation tools like: poll to a population sample to determine the perception that there have

involved in the process and experts in the topic, additional to this there decided the costs of
the operation and environmental potential risks. To finish a bibliographical review was realized
where the models of compilation identified used throughout the world, which were submitted to a
valuation method by points that it threw as result that the contenerización model was adapted to be
compared opposite to the current compilation system, determining to the compilation process might
be optimized if the containers model was implemented in Villavicencio's city.
