Hero Profiles

Summayah
Summayah is a hero because she was brave and strong. She was the first
woman martyr in Islam. Summayah got tortured and tortured over again and
again. She denied and refused to give up Islam. Once Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) witnessed Summayah and her family abused, he was truly disturbed
and he was unable to do anything, he simply said “Be patient family of Yasir!
For your final destination is Paradise”. The qualities she had passed on are to
be brave and strong and never give up Islam until your death. She was heroic
because she was very strong and brave to make sure she didn’t give up Islam
even she knew she would die for it.

Umar Ibn Kattab

Umar is a hero because he was the second Khalifa of the Muslims, he would
answer questions whether it was right or wrong, he would also walk around
the city at night to see if everything was fine. The qualities that he passed on
were to be brave and copy the ways Rasulullah acted and then share it to
others. He has been heroic because he was brave and been a very good and
responsible Khalifa to all the people of Islam at that time.

Nelson Mandella
Nelson Mandella is a hero because he was brave to stand up for himself and
all the others who supported him. Nelson was born at Umtata, South Africa
and in 1918. He became a lawyer and then in 1944 he joined the African
National Congress (ANC), this group worked for equal rights of black people.
In 1962, Nelson was jailed for his crimes against the government. Nelson was
getting more powerful then was freed from jail in 1990. In 1994 Nelson
became president of South Africa until 1999. The qualities he has shown is
that he is very powerful and black people and white are equal. He is heroic
he has served the rights of black people.

Isaac Newton
Isaac Newton is a hero because he explained laws of motion and universal
gravitation. Without him we wouldn’t know about any other planets orbiting
around the sun, he was the ones who explained the heliocentric model and
if there wasn’t him we probably have less and incorrect knowledge in
science. The qualities Isaac has passed on is education for all of us to learn
about. To be heroic he has taught many things to us so we can learn and
correct ourselves.

Parents
Our parents are heroes because they cared for us more than themselves. Our
parents have done so much to us, they have fed, cleanse, taught and so
much more. The qualities they have passed on is how to care for ourselves,
how to not hurt ourselves and more. They have been heroic to us by caring
and loving us.
