THE IMPACT OF GLOBALISATION

INTRODUCTION: GIobalization has become a buzzword in the new era of international
relationship. Basically it is a process of expanding trade and commerce all over the world by
creating a borderless market.

IMPACT ON BANGLADESH: The impact of globalization on our country’s economy cannot

denied. Like developing countries of the world our country is getting benefit out of borderless
market. Our GDP has increased. Garment industries are considered the for the foreign exchan-
ge earner .In terms of investment , employment and exports , the functioning EPZ have been
greatly successful.

COMMUNICATION: Globalisztion is now largely based on a strong technology foundation.

The electronic transfer of information via the internet has now created an instantaneous and
interconnected world of information resulting in a 24 hour trading network .

SPORTS: It play an important role in the development of international relationship. Many

international sporting events are organized from time to time. These events are telecast
worldwide by satellite and people all over the world watch them live . The sports venue
becomes a meeting place of people from different countries . All these have become
possible as a result of globalization .

EDUCATION: In education sector globalization has an important value. Various international

organizations have responded dramatically with their generous aid in education sector. Many
non-formal schools are being run. Meritorious students are availing themselves of the foreign
study scholarship.

BUSINESS: Although globalization is mainly connected with business. Trade and international
relations, it is no longer viewed from that perspective alone. The tide of globalization is now-

Encroaching into other spheres too.

FAMILY: Globalization exerts influences on our concepts of family. Commercialization and

rapid urbanization have resulted in break down of traditional large families into nuclear ones.

JOB SECTOR: Taking the advantage of the idea of globalization, capitalist countries are
exploiting and impoverishing the workers of the developing countries. In the name of health
and co- operation, the industrially developed capitalist countries are exploiting the cheap
labour available in poorer countries. This actually paves the way for a lasting poverty.

ENVIORNMENT POLLUTION: There are many positive and negative impacts on

globalization . Environment pollution is one of the most from them .Globalization plays a
negative role in our environment ,use of many kinds chemicals are badly effected it .So our
ozon layer are destroyed and natural calamity ,disaster are happened in nature .So as per as
we concerned about it we should protect our environment from the negative impact of
globalization.

CULTURE: Our culture is now getting changed rapidly, just because of globalization . There are
positive and negative impact impacts also, now there our culture is changed dramatically . It
called culture dimention . Foreign cultures are getting on our country ,we are effected
positively and negatively . Sometimes it causes many bad things ,it disturbs family harmony,
create many kinds of anti-social activities .

SOCIETY: Our society is also effected by globalization. It has positive and negative impacts
also .Now a days our society is greatly effected by it .Sometime it plays very harmful role for the
society. So as a concern people ,be a good citizen of country ,the people of all ages should be
try to save our society from the negative impact of globalization. Society plays an important
role in our life ,it is important for our future generation, so we should keep it from every

AIR POLLUTION: Air is one of the most important element nature . Because of the
globalization ,the use of carbon- di –oxad the gases of vehicals and factories and burning
platics , using many kinds of toxic and fertilizer in land to grow more food . These things are
very harmful for our environment. Use of carbon di oxid that create the amount of CFCs gas
which is very dangerous for our nature . It protect us from the ultra violate ray of sun . So we
should try not to use more carbon di oxid.

WATER POLLUTION: Globalisation is also pollute water ,use of fertilizer ,toxics and various
kinds of poisons in water cause pollute water. The poisons are getting mixed into water
,canal, rivers and ponds .People use this water everyday ,and this is very hurmful for human.

LIFE STYLE: Our lifestyle is changing .Now we are mostly effected on foreign culture .Our
life is mostly effected on it .Lifestyle is getting more comfortable like foreigners and we are
getting so technological, we use mobile to sent sms and use internet so that we can get
connect to world every moment.

CONCLUTION: It is true that globalization has produce a window of opportunity for more
countries to join the mainstream of world economy .Through globalization process . The
world can be much benefitted through fair play and justice. So we should have to take the
positive side except negatives.
