3. Weight-It is 45% lighter than steel and 65% heavier than aluminum.
4. Density-At 4.54gms per cubic centimeter it is about 56% as dense as steel.
5. Hardness- It becomes hardened when oxygen is absorbed from air. It denotes the tensile
strength of titanium.
6. Fatigue strength-It has got high-cycle fatigue strength and it varies depending on the
surface finish.
7. Melting point-This metal melts at 3.034 degree Fahrenheit.
8. Thermal expansion- The coefficient of titanium is relatively low.
9. Electrical conductivity-It is not a good conductor.
