POKEMON XY & ORAS CREATING ULTIMATE CATCHER POKEMON GUIDE
This guide's purpose is to help anyone pick out and create the best "Catcher" Pokemon
Since there are so many Pokemon to choose from, this guide will only focus on those who can learn the move "False Swipe"
False Swipe is a normal type attack move that always leaves the target with at least 1 HP, perfect for catching Pokemon
Even though False Swipe won't work on Ghost type Pokemon, there aren't too many of them, and there are work arounds for them
Below is a list of all the Pokemon that can learn the move False Swipe, by level, TM, and in Smeargle's case, Sketch
Extra information regarding the Pokemon's ability, types and stats is listed below to help
If any of the Pokemon have other useful moves in regards to capturing Pokemon, you will find them listed under the "Helpful Moves" column

At high levels, all Pokemon above are good at this role, so no need to worry about breeding, natures, effort values, abilities, etc.
Since there aren't any roaming or "run-away" type Pokemon for XY & ORAS, Block & Mean Look are useless right now.
However, there are some very notable Pokemon that seem to exceed even beyond the other catcher Pokemon.
These notable Pokemon can become "ultimate" catchers if set up the right way using their abilities, stats, moves, natures, etc.
Note though, some of these "ultimate" catcher Pokemon will be a pain to create, but worth it (Examples - Gallade & Smeargle).
Recommend to take the time to create a catcher Pokemon that you can rely on that can be useful in many situations
Rare times where your catcher can't escape & can't knock out the wild Pokemon (Wobbuffet) just catch it & go on your way.
Below are notable catcher samples set up for their capturing roles and some reasons as to why they are good along with some flaws.
