What is a 180 Degree Long Radius Elbow?

An elbow is a pipe fittings which is widly used as a connection point between two lengths of pipes
to produce a change in the direction of flow in the pipe, usually at an angle of 90° (90 deg),
45°(45 deg) or 180° (180 deg). Elbow pipe fitting are also commonly referred as bends, and are
available in a range of materials such as nickel alloys, stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel,
duplex, supper duplex and cupro nickel etc. 180 degree long radius elbow or also called
as return bend allows complete reversal of flow. The distance between end of elbow and center
line is 3 x NPS.
