Summary
I am an Agricultural Educator. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State
University. I completed my student teaching experience with Todd Thomas as my cooperating
teacher. I believe Agricultural Education is the art of teaching our students to be leaders of
tomorrow. Agriculture is the foundation of teaching our students to be those leaders. Agricultural
Education is the pathway to every student’s success. It offers them leadership experiences,
personal and professional development and potential career opportunities. Knowing your s tudents
can start a project, maintain it, keep records on the project, and show that they’ve learned
something they can later use in the future, is truly satisfying. All parts of agriculture will always
be tied to any student who enrolls in an agriculture course. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to
educate those students about the importance of agriculture.
