1) Operating Temperature and Humidity test

Test Purpose:
To verify that the operational unit under test (UUT) and its components do not suffer damage or
loss of data when subjected to elevated or reduced humidity and temperature conditions.

Test Equipment
1) Unit Under Test (UUT)
2) Temperature/Humidity Chamber
3) Test Software: OS Window 2012, ETD Meatgrinder 4.730.
Note: Test site is FXN TJ R&D lab.

Test Samples
1. The UUT configuration shall be approved by HP prior to testing.
2. Multiple configurations may be required to be tested, depending on the project’s complexity and
goals. Each configuration shall be tested separately.
Note: Serial number PBYFTXCTM2A00F

Test Specifications
The unit shall be fully functional from 5 to 95% relative humidity, 28℃ maximum wet bulb
temperature, (non-condensing) across the operating temperature range of 0℃ to 40℃

Test Conditions
1. Run ETD Meatgrinder 4.730;
2. Test duration: 4 cycles.

Test Procedure
1. Begin with the UUT powered off
2. Log all UUT configuration information, software used, revision level, etc. for report
generation once testing is complete.
3. Place UUT in Humidity test chamber.
4. Power UUT on and launch Meatgrinder using the approved configuration file.
5. Allow Meatgrinder to run a minimum of twenty minutes.
6. Halt Meatgrinder and examine the log file for any failures or warnings.
7. If any failures or warnings are logged, they must be documented in the test report and
corrected before the test is continued.
8. Save the Meatgrinder log file for attachment to the report.
9. If the unit passed the pre-test in Steps 4 through 7, proceed to Step 10.
10. Program the test chamber per the Operational Temperature and Humidity profile as above.
11. Complete the Operational Temperature and Humidity test as shown above. The standard
test duration shall be four 24-hour cycles.
12. Launch Meatgrinder using the approved configuration file.
13. Allow Meatgrinder to run a minimum of twenty minutes.
14. Halt Meatgrinder and examine the log file for any failures or warnings.
15. If any failures or warnings are logged, they must be documented in the test report.
16. Save the Meatgrinder log file for attachment to the report.

Pass/Fail Criteria:
1. During and after the Operational Temperature and Humidity test, the UUT must perform
functionally as intended.
2. No cosmetic damage to the UUT is allowed.
