2018 preview and pricing updates

ALE announces the H2-2018 SMB offer that introduces the new 8019s digital DeskPhone, the 8018
DeskPhone Moon grey and a set of accessories. It is also introduced pricing updates for Premium
add-ons modules.

Alcatel-Lucent OXO Connect R3

Earlier this year, the OXO Connect R3.0 was introduced for hybrid OXO Connect and the new OXO Connect
Evolution full IP system. Release R3.0 is also in the H2-2018 offer and benefits from enhancements to Cloud
Services Rainbow and Cloud Connect.
Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ now supports OXO Connect “one number”, thus allowing users to choose where to
route their business calls from their Rainbow clients. The Rainbow desktop and web clients also allow specifying
which device to control when launching a call. To enable one number, a Rainbow subscription is needed and one
UTL is required. The UTL is to configure the “any phone” supporting the remote mobile phone.

Also available, VoIP can be used for calls between Rainbow mobile or Rainbow desktop and OXO Connect phones
because of the Rainbow WebRTC module. This WebRTC module is free of charge and must be installed either as
a virtual machine or on a small appliance (consult Rainbow support web site for the early adopter period and
more information). The UTL used to support a remote mobile phone in one number is reused to enable the
Rainbow VOIP. The Rainbow WebRTC module interacts with OXO Connect because of a SIP trunk, thus some IP
trunk licenses must be provisioned to make it run.

Alcatel-Lucent OXO Connect R3 policy.

As a reminder, commercial migration from any Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX® Office R2-R10 is possible to an OXO
Connect PowerCPU-EE based. The prerequisites remain the same as for migration to OXO Connect R2.x: The
PowerCPU-EE is mandatory and the hardware check rejecting old chassis and old SLI16 is applied.

OXO Connect R3 also introduced a new terminal support policy that prevents the acceptance of older phones on
a new system. When OXO Connect is the result of a migration of an existing OmniPCX Office, no restriction is
applied and all in-place phones can run. However, if a NEW system has been ordered in place of the migrated
one, the restriction applies. So be sure to choose in ACTIS to keep the existing system and calculate a
migration if there are old phones that must still be supported.

For OmniPCX Office release technical support, a reminder that the OmniPCX Office R10 is reaching Phase-out
status in October 2018, meaning that bugs will no longer be fixed, however technical support is still available for
one year before the end-of-life of this release.

From a commercial perspective, license add-ons are still possible for OmniPCX Office R9 and R10.
Consult the SMB release policy for more information.

Alcatel-Lucent 8019s DeskPhone

Built on the success and practicality of the Premium DeskPhone line, the new eco-friendly Alcatel-Lucent 8019s
DeskPhone offers the same telephony features as the 8029s and 8039s in a highly optimized format.

This entry-level phone offers companies a modern business-grade design with advanced, user-friendly telephony
features provided by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise communications servers.

8019s DeskPhone shares the same accessory list as 8018 DeskPhone (Wall Mounting Kit, Comfort Handset) and
spare parts (Foot, Customizable clip, Transparent Plastic Cover and Paper Label kit, Paper Label).

Release compatibility: OXO Connect R3 - 8019s works in retro-compatibility mode.
