The following text is for question 18to22

Many people say that examination should be abolished because they are not the best measure of students’
capabilities. These people believe that students can study on their own and do better without the nagging worry and preasure
exerted by examination.
Yet, there are persuasive reasons to show that examinations should not be abolished. It is insufficient that teachers
assign homework and correct it. Because this is not done under supervision, they can not be sure that it is really the work of
the student themselves. Moreover, homework is not a test of the student’s ability; homework is more a method of merely
keeping him occupied.
Nowdays, in the hunt for jobs, students need to produce some evidence of their capabilities. Prospective employers
like to see copies of examination result; this is only the way a student’s qualifications can be judged. This attitude greatly
encourages the use of examinations, if not making them a necessity.

18. What information do we get from the text?

A. People’s attitudes toward examinations.
B. The teachers’ roles to motovate the students.
C. Student’s disagreement againts examinations.
D. The examination’s measurement is abolished.
E. The persuasive ways to maintain the examination.

19. What is the main idea of paragraph 2?

A. Homework is a methode of keeping students busy.
B. The teachers’ roles in supervising the students.
C. Homework is not a test of student’s ability.
D. The reasons to maintain the examinations.
E. The insufficientt the teacher in school.

20. How do we judge student’s qualification?

A. Checking his attitude.
B. Referring to his diploma.
C. Concerning his behaviour.
D. Producing his capability.
E. Trekking his activities.

21. Why do some people disagree to abolish examination?

A. For the sake of efficiency.
B. As the regulation in the country.
C. Since no body trusts the students nowadays.
D. Because homework can be done without teacher’s supervision
E. Because exam result is the only proof of student’s capabilities.

22. “People say that examination should be abolished.”

What does the underline mean?
A. Banned.
B. Applied.
C. Regarded.
D. Discarded.
E. Forbidden.

Chocolate starts with a tree called the cacao tree. The tree grows in equatorial regions, especially in place such as

tree seeds, also known as cacao beans.
The beans are fermented for about a week, dried in the sun and then shipped to the chocolate maker. The chocolate
maker starts by roasting the beans to bring out the flavor. Different beans from different places have different qualities and
flavor, so they are often sorted and blanded to produce a distinctive mix. Next, the roasted beans are winnowed. Winnowing
removes the meat nib of the cacao bean from its shell. Then the nibs are blended. The blended nibs are ground to make it
