To the Chairman of the Administrative Council of ARBCA,

On Sunday, November 18, 2018, Covenant Baptist Church of Clarksville, Tn. voted to withdraw as a
member church of the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America. This vote affects, and our
withdrawal includes, Christ Reformed Baptist Church of Lookout Mountain, Tn.

We are withdrawing due to our perception that the Administrative and Membership Councils have
shown no serious owning of responsibility for mistakes or sins related to various aspects of the Tom
Chantry controversy. This is especially the case regarding the Hales Corners, Wisconsin church
application for membership in the association.

We believe that trust in ARBCA's leadership can only begin to be reestablished by a third-party
investigation and report concerning all that has taken place in the controversy. Even the world knows
that self-investigation and reporting are patently invalid. Brothers, we hope and pray for better things.

As we did not want differences of understanding about these matters to harm our own congregations,
we have chosen this course of action.
