COMPANY’S POLICIES

DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY


ALLSEA DMCC is fully aware that alcohol and drug abuse by employees will impair their abilities
to properly perform their duties and will have seriously adverse effects on the safety, efficiency
and productivity of other employees as well as the Company as the whole. Therefore, the
company hereby declares as follows:

1. All company’s vessels are restricted alcohol-consumption vessels.


2. Consumption of alcoholic beverages onboard Company’s vessels is restricted and any
violation of this policy is the grounds for termination of employment.
3. The misuse of legitimate drugs or the use, possession, distribution, or sale of illicit or un-
prescribed controlled drugs onboard Company’s vessels is strictly prohibited and is
grounds for termination of employment.
4. Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of shipboard Officers & Ratings must not exceed
0.04% at any time while onboard company’s vessels.
5. Being unfit for assigned duties due to use of drugs or alcohol is not tolerated and is
grounds for termination of employment.
6. Designated personnel working in the Master, Chief Officer, Second Officer, Third Officer,
Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, Third Engineer, Fourth Engineer, Bosun and Fitter
positions will be immediately replaced and terminated employment without any mercy if
having or being found having any alcohol or drug abuse problem.
7. If an employee violates any provision of this Drugs and Alcohol Policy, appropriate
disciplinary action will be at once taken on him/her.

ALLSEA DMCC requests all employees, shipboard officers and ratings to submit to alcohol and
drug testing whenever cause exists to suspect that there is alcohol or drug abuse or prior to
taking assignment onboard the company’s vessels or when being required by law.
Unannounced periodic or random drug and alcohol testing shall be conducted by the company’s
management at any time at least once a year. Unannounced random alcohol testing onboard
shall be conducted by the Master/Officers at least once a month and whenever it is deemed to
be necessary with testing record to be duly kept accordingly. A positive test result or refusal of
submission to a drug and alcohol test is grounds for disciplinary actions taken, including
termination of employment.
