Physical Education Literacy Questions

Intro
The aim of Physical education is to enable students to develop the skills, knowledge, and habits
necessary to live a healthy lifestyle. My main focus is to create a desire in my students to
participate in a variety of activities. Students will continue to develop the physical skills that they
have been working on in years past. Students will see the benefits of being physically active as
well as being physically literate. Through cooperation and teamwork, students will further
develop their interpersonal relationship skills. Lastly, students will assume responsibility to lead
an active way of life outside of school.

Below is a collection of literacy questions that can be quizzed on Phys Ed Unit evaluations.
Brining literacy into Physical Education was the main focus of my project. I will be leaving
behind this collection of questions as well as unit posters for the Phys Ed department at St
Mary’s School.
