1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal).

Through my last teaching practicum, I found after my MST and MCT evaluate me. They mention that
I need to work on doing time management through doing the activities in a centre area.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

To achieve this goal, I will follow the steps of strategies to avoid this goal and achieved.
First, I will prepare agog planning tools. Second, get organized the activity that fit with time of the
activity. Thirdly, using the timer while children doing the activity.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)

I can tell that I achieved my goal through teaching when I received the evaluation from my MST and
MCT Feedback after the lesson.

In centres: Key vocabulary

- Flash cards. New words: Cat, cow, cake, comb, carrot, car, cup, a
candle, cap.
- Small flash card (mix letters between t,c,s,
and m).

- Books.

- Pencils.

- Materials to design.

- White glue.

- Paces of paper start with letter C.


For assessment:

- Using Checklist.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

-I welcome children in class to come in circle area.

- I will require to them sit nicely in class.

- Reviews with children the day of the week, months.


Time: 15 min

word start with the sound C. Can you find with me name your friends that start with letter
C.

Cat and cow they had a birthday party they will getting ready. The cat took the camp to Bruch her hair with
comb and put on the cap. And cow took the coat Because it was could. They took the camera with them.
They ran to the car. When they arrived to the birthday party. They found a lots of carrot and they were
happy to see the candle on the cake. They ate a lot and they drank tea in a cup. And they left home happy.

And know how to start write the big and small letter C in the three lines.

Then. Stand up and point to the objects that start with sound C around the class.

After that, I will divide children to the centres.

Name of the activity: Writing the letter C.

What the teacher does?

It will be in writing table.

- Provide the children books.

- Require from children to write their name and date in the top of the page.

- Require from children to hold the pencil nicely.

- Require from children to write the big and small letter C in a right way.

What will children do?

- Take their book, write their name and the data.

- Hold the pencil nicely.

- Start write the big and small Sound C.


I will sit with this group and evaluate their understanding the concept by using the checklist.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Name of the activity: Design the letter C.

It will be in art table.

What will the teacher does?

- Provide a piece of paper that include the big and small letter C.

- Provide the materials to design the letters by using the glue.

- Provide the panicle to children to write their name in the top of page.
What will children do?

- Take one paper that include the sound C.

- Write their name in the top.

- Take the materials and design the sound C.


Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

Name of the activity: Found the letter C.

What will the teacher does?

- I will require children to sit in the place.

- I will provide to children different letters that start with sound s, t, m, and C.

- I will require for each child to find the letter C, count it, and say to your friends.
What will children do?

- Sit in their place.

- Using the flash card with letter C and another letters.


- Finds the letter C, count it, and tell to their friends how many you found.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

Name of the activity: Sorting the big objects that start with sound C.

What will teacher does?

- I will Provide to children a different pictures that include the sound t, m, S, and C.

And I require from children to sort the pictures that start with sound C.
What will children do?

- See the different pictures that have different sounds of letters.

- Sort the pictures that start with the sound C.

- Say the name of each picture they found.

What the teacher does?

- Call children to clean up and return materials in right place.

- Require from children to go back to their place.

- Ask questions for children what they learnt from the new lesson about letter C.
Such as: What was the letter for today? And what it is the sound of it.

- What the children do?

- Clean up, and return the materials in right place.

- Come to circle area.

- Answer the questions.


Assessment

I will assessment children work by using the checklist while children doing the activity, And recode children
work by take photo to their work.
