• Worked with ArcGIS to create more efficient maps to use throughout the planting and harvest season.
• Gained experience out in the field working with Trimble systems gathering data on sugarcane location and
varieties.
United States Sugar Corporation Communications Intern, Clewiston, FL May 2018-August 2018
• Wrote and edited comments and post for social media and collaborated with communication directors on events.
• Planned and attended public relation and marketing meetings and events in order to learn technical skills within
marketing and public relations related to agriculture.

• Recorded and studied surveys and data information in order to understand the scientific communication of
agriculture to the everyday citizen.

• Worked toward a fundraising goal of $2,000 and stood for 26.2 hours during the largest student-run philanthropy
in the Southeast benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

• Attend weekly meetings with a team of 4 out of 200 sisters to discuss all aspects of chapter health and safety.
