INFORMATION

The undersigned Public Prosecutor for the City of Surigao hereby accuses ROMMEL
ALFREDO of the crime of GRAVE THREATS, punishable under Article 282 of the Revised
Penal Code, committed as follows, to wit:

That on or about 3:00 pm of November 25, 2018, in Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City, and
within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, the said accused, moved by personal resentment,
did then and there, willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously threaten RUCHIE U. ETOLLE with an
infliction upon the latter of a wrong amounting to a crime, by then and there uttering the
following words while clutching the handle of a bolo fastened around his waist:

“Di mo kasabot? Di pa lage ko mubayad. Tagaan ra nako mo ug trenta segundos. Kung naa pa
gale mo diri, panigbason na nako mo! Ilabay pa nako inyong mga patay nga lawas sa suba!”
(Don’t you understand? I told you that I will not pay yet. I will give you thirty seconds. If you
are still here, I will slash you! I will even throw your dead bodies into the river!)

Contrary to Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code.
