Introduction
ISO/IEC 17025 is a powerful tool for calibration and testing laboratories to improve their quality
of work and demonstrate their competence.

The standard has also been used throughout the conformity assessment global infrastructure
such as accreditation bodies and regulators. A common understanding on the requirements of
the standard is considered vital as it enables laboratories to provide competent, and high quality
