CHAPTER II

A. Different Sorts of Writing Taught

In every chapter, there was some different material. At first chapter titled “Would You
Fill Out This Form, Please?” is taught about writing a various text. For example fill
out a form and answering a questionnaire.
At Second chapter titled “What Should I Do?” is taught about how to write a letter.
And third chapter titled “Whatever Will Be, Will Be” is taught about how to write a
personal letter about and activity.
And the fourth chapter titled “Both You and I” is taught about writing a various text,
For example how to use correlative conjunctions in a sentence and making
suggestions.
B. Kind of Writing Exercises
 Control Writing.
Control writing means writing a paragraph that have blank word that should be
filled. For example in Chapter 1 at page 4, fill in the blank.
 Guided Writing
Guided writing means that write a paragraph or a sentence that already given a
word to make the sentence. For instance in Chapter 2 at page 28, create a role
play.
 Free Writing
Free writing means that make a paragraph that only give the theme of the
paragraph. Such as Chapter 2 at page 35, write a reply for a letter base on
advice.
