Long story short, then, five teams –

Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

Watford, Everton, West Ham, Palace, Norwich and Man United have no fixture in Gameweek 35,
however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

To Do

a) Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but
the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new,
STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35. So, don’t remove Hart for De Gea. Use a United Def.

b) United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home
encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following
week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham. So,
Lingard/attacking player and a defender is must.
c) Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from
Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.
Firmino, a defender and possibly an attack based player is must.

d) In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host
Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.
Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The
Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.
Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in
hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.
West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford
in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches
in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the
Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.
Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv,
nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making
their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.
Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE)
are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

Thoughts on Transfers

Having a lot of headaches planning for the DGWs.

My Position:

a) No Wildcard, No Bench Boost, No AOA Chip, Yes Triple Captain

b) Have 4 DGW players in Aguero, Ozil, Moreno and Hart. (Although, I don't like
the idea of keeping Moreno)
c) I need 11 players in all 3 GWs that matter the most 34,35 & 37.
d) Since, I don't have the WC, I cant waste transfers and hits on players who are
not game-time secure and too injury prone.
e) Right now, I have 2FTs in hand and I am considering a making three changes for
a hit.
f) So, I have a total of 5 FTs between now and GW34. I may have to take a gamble
in keeping Moreno.
g) I don't want to take any unnecessary risks to rise up the ranks and transfer
out all high-ownership players only to fall-back harder.

What I have learned so far:

a)
Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in
Gameweek 34 and 37.
Watford, Everton, West Ham, Palace, Norwich and Man United have no fixture in
Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.
Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double
apiece, in Gameweek 34.
Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

Crystal Palace v Everton

This is the one fixture which is yet to be rearranged. It could however play a big
part in our planning. The likelihood of it being in either of the other DGW’s and
therefore producing a ‘Treble GW’ are slim. The most likely scenario is that it will
be slotted into GW35. This is subject to UEFA approval as it would be on a Champions
League week and they will of course look for compensation and fines, such is their
want. For us though it would make a GW34 wildcard much more attractive as two of the
teams featuring in 34 would then NOT also face a blank in 35.

My Plan

To build Game-week 34 team something around this

* This team is only something I am moving towards to, not an actual team that I intend
to field for Game-week 34. After each GW, I will evaluate the team performances,
players, wait and make my transfers. Since I have 2FTs right now, I only have to take
2 hits between GW31-34. Some players in consideration who might or might not replace
the players above are: ROBLES, BARKSLEY, PAULISTA, BORTHWICK-JACKSON, LINGARD,
MARTIAL, ANTONIO, COUTINHO,IGHALO/DEENEY

* This way I can field 10-11 players in Gameweek 34 for 2 hits between now and 34.

* I will have 9-10 players for Gameweek 35 depending upon my transfers. So, I might or
might not have to take a -4 hit to field 11 players in GW35 after fielding a
complete DGW team in 34. Like speculated above, if Everton do get a game in GW35, I
will need only transfer at most to field a full DGW team in GW35. Then, I be focusing
my -4 and transfers to plan a full team for GW 37.

* Give or take, I will have 7-8 DGW players after Gameweek 35. Then, I can take a -4
or not to field 10-11 DGW players in 37. I don't want to end up in this situation, so
I will find a way to field 11 DGW players with a -4 hit at most.

* Best time to swap Spurs cover for DGW players is this GW or GW 32.

* Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea

that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment,
with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35

* Liverpool look ripe for investment with their schedule from Gameweek 33
onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

* In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace,

Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five
Gameweeks.

* West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home
encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then
blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN)
is bound to see significant investment.

* Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34
(wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35.

TRANSFER: FIRMINO IN, ERIKSEN OUT

Captain Pick

Sigurdsson (C), Kane (VC)

Reason: In very good form. Villa in shambles both home and away. Swansea having
scored 7 in last 3 against Villa at home.

Team for GW 31
Doubt between Ozil and Alli. Might Swap in Ozil at the deadline.
