34 Target
GK: Hart, Rudd
DF: Moreno/Clyne/West Ham Def, Man Utd Def, Jagielka/Monreal, Fuchs, Bertrand
Tranfers: 8-9
Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.
Watford, Everton, West Ham, Palace, Norwich and Man United have no fixture in Gameweek 35,
however, due to the FA Cup schedule.
Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.
Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.
To Do
a) Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but
the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new,
STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35. So, don’t remove Hart for De Gea. Use a United Def.
b) United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home
encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following
week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham. So,
Lingard/attacking player and a defender is must.
c) Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from
Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.
Firmino, a defender and possibly an attack based player is must.
d) In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host
Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.
Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The
Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.
Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in
hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.
West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford
in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches
in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the
Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.
Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv,
nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making
their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.
Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE)
are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.
Thoughts on Transfers
My Position:
a)
Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in
Gameweek 34 and 37.
Watford, Everton, West Ham, Palace, Norwich and Man United have no fixture in
Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.
Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double
apiece, in Gameweek 34.
Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

My Plan
* This way I can field 10-11 players in Gameweek 34 for 2 hits between now and 34.
* I will have 9-10 players for Gameweek 35 depending upon my transfers. So, I might or
might not have to take a -4 hit to field 11 players in GW35 after fielding a
complete DGW team in 34. Like speculated above, if Everton do get a game in GW35, I
will need only transfer at most to field a full DGW team in GW35. Then, I be focusing
my -4 and transfers to plan a full team for GW 37.
* Give or take, I will have 7-8 DGW players after Gameweek 35. Then, I can take a -4
or not to field 10-11 DGW players in 37. I don't want to end up in this situation, so
I will find a way to field 11 DGW players with a -4 hit at most.
* Best time to swap Spurs cover for DGW players is this GW or GW 32.
* Liverpool look ripe for investment with their schedule from Gameweek 33
onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.
* West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home
encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then
blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN)
is bound to see significant investment.
* Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34
(wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35.
Captain Pick
Reason: In very good form. Villa in shambles both home and away. Swansea having
scored 7 in last 3 against Villa at home.
Team for GW 31
Doubt between Ozil and Alli. Might Swap in Ozil at the deadline.
