Company Profile

Shanghai Cadre Environment Energy Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was established in
2000. As an engineering and technical enterprise, Cadre specializes in research and development
of energy-saving and emission-reduction furnaces and thermal equipments for steel industry on
turn-key basis.

With headquarters in Shanghai Hongqiao Development Zone in East China, Cadre also
established branches in Anshan and Shenyang in North China, manufacture bases for honey
comb refractory and regenerative burners in Anshan, and switching valves in Suzhou.

During last 10 years, Cadre has managed nearly 200 projects with patented technologies. In
2010, 32 large scale reheat furnaces were built with nearly 100,000,000 USD contract value,
occupying half of the market share in China. By the end of August this year, 30 projects are
managed or in progress.

The company was entitled Shanghai Hi-tech enterprise and Hi-tech achievements
transformation enterprise in 2004, and ISO 9000 certification in 2006.

As a leading supplier of industrial furnaces in China, the company has attracted a great
number of technical personnel from scientific institutes, engineering institutes, steel and iron
enterprises and technical academies, in all professions including mechanical engineering, civil
construction, electrical and automation, refractory, project management and etc. Total number of
technical personnel now reaches 200.

Key technical personnel of the company carried out experimental research on regenerative
technology in early 1990’s, after decades of hard working, Cadre has been awarded many
patents by far and has a leadership in the field of regenerative combustion technology both at
home and aboard.

The products in operation represent the state-of the- art level of China and the World, such
as the largest dual regenerative slab reheat furnace of the world, the first digital regenerative
reheat furnace of the world, the first all-scattered/separate sectional and lateral direction reversal
regenerative reheat furnace in China, and etc.

In 2010, Cadre managed one 250 t/h slab reheat furnace for India Lloyds Indusrty. The
furnace is a walking beam type, cooled by evaporative steam and fueled with coke oven gas and
heavy oil. Now the furnace has been operating for one year and turns out to be a success.

With half market share in China, Cadre is exploring overseas markets now. The company is
