INSTRUCTIONS TO MEMBERSHIP APPLICANTS (SRI LANKANS)

1. Applications must be made in a prescribed form collected from the IQSSL office at
the above address or downloaded from the Web Site www.iqssl.lk.

2. Application Processing Fees

1. Student Membership - Rs. 500.00


2. Probationary Membership - Rs. 750.00
3. Registered Membership - Rs. 1,000.00
4. Technical Membership - Rs. 1,000.00
5. Graduate Membership - Rs. 1,000.00
6. Associate Membership - Rs. 1,500.00
7. Fellow Membership - Rs. 2,500.00

3. Applicants are strictly advised to read the instructions and post scripts given at the
bottom of the application prior to commencement of filling the application and ensure
that the information and the copies of certificates are provided with/attached to the
application in order to avoid delay in processing.

4. Applicants can make the processing fee paid using one of the following methods.

(i). By Credit Card at the IQSSL office.

Or

(ii). By depositing the correct amount of processing fee in credit of the Institute of
Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka, to the Institute’s Account No. 1208409001 – of
the Commercial Bank PLC, Borella.

Or

(iii). By a Bank Draft or a Cheque ( crossed Account Payee only ) drawn in favour of
the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka and credit it to the Account No.
1208409001 – Commercial Bank PLC, Borella. .
5. By attaching the Bank Draft or the Cheque or
the Original of Bank Deposit Slip or
a photo copy of the payment receipt to the duly filled application and handing them
over to the IQSSL office or sending them under Registered Post to the following
address.

Note : Applicants are advised to keep a photo copy of the Bank Deposit Slip as the
original is to be sent with the application form.

6. No cash payments are accepted.

7. Please obtain a receipt from the IQSSL office for the payment made. The receipts for
the applicants, who sent their applications by registered post, will be sent along with
the application acknowledgement letter.

8. The Institute is not responsible for any loss or misplacement of applications, cheques
or bank drafts or payment receipts etc. during the post.
