Note to the educator

Y

Working with our poorest students is lending to the Lord! I love how the Living Bible translates
the second half of the verse – and He pays wonderful interest on your loan! I’ve never thought
about working with our poor students as a loan, but the Lord loves children and is the
Champion of the poor. He told us in MaG. 26:11 that we will always have the poor with us and
He always admonishes us to take care of the poor. How can we do that at school? Make a
A

special effort to know the backgrounds of the students who are struggling financially. Seek
ways to tutor the most disadvantage. EducaQon is one of the greatest giRs we can give the
poor that they may help themselves. Never underesQmate your impact on the poorest of your
students.
