To our parents and guardians

We are ending term one of the educational year 2018, we wish to pass on greetings to you from the administration, staff
and our pupils. Thank you for the support you give to the school and the young ones as well. This term began with a
challenging situation in the history of the school, which created worries and doubts within the people we work with to
educate our kids, the teachers, parents, bankers and suppliers were all worried about the future of the school. We would
want to guarantee you all that purple parrot is build on the strong foundation and no one will ever divert the objective of
the school from that on which it was started which is to teach minds how to solve problems within societies in order to
build a better Africa. As all of you can observe our way of doing things has been directed to that objective and we
promise to put in more in order to deliver on our promises. Some of the activities we have redesigned to produce
students who are better at doing everything are as mentioned bellow.

ACADEMICS:
Our student exhibited good performance in mid-term and end of term exams as compared to the rest of the students who
sat the same exams. We try to expose our students to the grading test and exams which are not set by the school in order
to weigh how they have improved in relation to other students especially from Lubaga and the United States of
America.

We have opened contact with ENGAGE NEW YORK which is a New York state organization to design mathematics
and science curriculum for kindergarten, pre-primary and primary schools in order to design a curriculum which is
close to the current Ugandan curriculum to help us achieve the school's objective of training problem solvers for
tomorrow. Some of the questions in holiday work for P.2 and P.3 are from Engage to help assess the level knowledge in
mathematics and sciences the kids have. We request parents and guardians to remind the kids to do that holiday work
and return with the booklets for grading in order to help us understand how we can work with engage to improve the
quality of education.

The school will be introducing Beginning of term exams next term. Beginning of term will contribute 20% of the final
marks of the student in every term. Please parents remind our students to read books in holiday in order to do better in
beginning of term exams.

DESCIPLINE:
It is our duty as teachers to build better citizens; we are doing our best to train the children in morals and how to deal
with others. Our request is for you our parents to also help us in monitoring our kids and improving their abilities to deal
with others together we will build a brighter future for our lovely sons and daughters and Africa will be good for those
who will there to see our kids.

SMARTNESS:
One of the many challenges we had this term was the delay in providing school uniforms. This was cause by forces
which we could not control, but we have managed to make the uniforms available in plenty at the school. All learners
are expected to be fully dressed in school uniform with black shoes and grey socks. Wednesday and Friday, sportswear
with white canvas and red socks. We high discourage students to be dressed in Non school sweaters. The school
sweaters are also available at the school please visit the bursar's office and get one for our little ones.

LATE COMING:
The school opens at 6:30am for day scholars, we expect all P.2 and P.3 students to be in class by 7:30am. Lower classes
to be at school by 7:45am Children who come beyond that time miss out a lot we encourage parents to send the kids at
school early enough to catch up with the all class.

BREACKFAST:
The school has prepared a canteen to provide kids with eats which will be sold at an affordable price for those who have
not managed to bring eats from home.

REQUIREMENTS:
In order to deliver quality services to our pupils school requirements are a necessity. We request parent to bring the
requirements on the first day of the term. Students who come to school without school requirements will be sent back
home which inconveniences their educational progress. Our kids in P.1, P.2 and P.3 are required to bring text books (we
recommend M.K ) and two pens.

SCHOOL FEES:
This term our parents put in more effort in paying school fees, most of our students have cleared all the school fees
which the school appreciates too much. And it is the yard stick we as administration use to judge whether our parents
are appreciative of our work or not. We encourage parents to please pay school fees in time. This enables us to plan on
how to deliver great service in time.

To our parents who had challenges this term we are always with you in our prayers. The school has designed a plan were
school fees can be paid at any time in the bank and the bank slips are presented to the school at the beginning of the term.
This is a new tool we like to test and see if it will work. Any challenges you encounter in using it please let us know and
make it better to avoid interruptions in students' studies. We kindly request you to pay 70% of the school fees at the
beginning of the term bank slips are put in the files. We highly discourage cash at school but to those who would not
manage to go to the bank can come at school.

BOARDING SECTION:
Many parents are requesting the school to start boarding section. We are planning to have a boarding section next term.
The school fees for the boarding section will be communicated after a joint meeting between the administration and
P.T.A to decide on what should be factored in the boarding school fees. We call upon those who would wish to put their
children in boarding, to come at the office.

TOUR:
We will be having a study tour next term; fee and the details will be communicated.

REGISTRATION:
Intake for new entrants is in progress. Next term will begin on 28th / May / 2018

May the Almighty bless you.
