GRADUATION BALL SCRIPT

INTRO: Eleonor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who
believe in the beauty of their dreams”

"Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of

other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown
out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage
to follow your heart and intuition.” a quote from Steve Jobs.

Inspiring words from inspiring people who have made a difference

in the world, just by following their hearts aspirations to achieve
their dreams. Their quest for success ignited the desire to make
things happen rather than watch things happen on their own.

It is on this very night that we will celebrate years of buying, trading,

and selling everything you’ve got in this marketplace of ideas for
the pursuit of success.

It is also in this very night we will celebrate the transformation of

our aspiring graduates into would-be full-blown members of the
society and belong to those who serve as inspiration to each and
every person.

Indeed, "There is a good reason they call these ceremonies '

commencement exercises”. Graduation is not the end; it's the
beginning." The beginning of a whole new journey. A journey full of
battles, challenges and obstacles; but with great confidence, we are
proud to say that we are all ready to stand out from others in our
individual careers with the heart of a true Licean.

Tonight, as we gather to celebrate the success of everyone. Let us

not forget to express our gratitude to our Lord Almighty, the One
behind everyone’s success and helped us all reach this point of our
lives. Let us all thank Him through an invocation to be followed by
the patriotic singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the Liceo
University Hymn. Please all rise.

V.O.: You may now take your seats.
