US

Greeneration Foundation (GF) is a non-profit organization working on


sustainable issues, focusing in utilizing creative media and Information
Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance Sustainable Consumption
and Production (SCP). It was established in Bandung, West Java,
Indonesia in 2014 by M. Bijaksana Junerosano.

We initiated “BebasSampah.ID”, a national program recognized by


Indonesian government. We strengthen our activities by engaging
collaboration with government, environmentally-focused organizations
and communities, while also connecting to the broader
community - ranging from individual, children, professionals
to housewives.

VISION
Greeneration Foundation becomes a platform
of trusted ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology)
and stakeholder collaboration, to actualize the principles
of sustainable consumption and production (SCP).

A program focuses on information,
communication,and technology system.

The movement for Indonesia #BebasSampah2020 was initiated in 2015 and


it is currently held on every National Waste Awareness Day (NWAD). On 21st
February 2016, to commemorate NWAD, a mass movement is formed to do
voluntary work in order to support the sustainable programs towards
Zero Waste Indonesia 2020. The movement is a national resolution
and can be seen through the website address:

The program is an aspiration of all stakeholders who want every region in
Indonesia free of waste. The prevailing objective is not complete
elimination, but rather an integrated waste management that reduces
the amount of waste until it coincides with a sustainable economy.
That dream united the initiators of the BSID movement, including
Greeneration Foundation, Society YPBB and ITB Environmental
Engineering Alumni Association. These organisations
collaborated together, which later earned the support of
Cipta Media Celular in 2014. At the beginning, we focused
on building communication platforms via website,
messaging services and mobile applications. Our aim
is to enable optimization of community contribution in
waste management and existing data clarification.
