RUSSIAN TRANSLATION SETUP PROCEDURE

Please follow following steps for doing setup.

a) Select Regional Option settings from Control Panel.

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Regional Options.

b) Regional Option form will display following Tab Buttons.

c) Select General Option settings from the form as shown above.

d) Check and select “Cyrillic” Option as shown in the form below.
e) Select “Apply” button from the form and it will give the options for loading
required files.
f) Please insert Windows 2000 Professional CD in CDROM and Point to given
folder from CD by selecting ‘Browse’ button.
Or
Point to the path on server or local machine where dump of Windows 2000
Professional has been kept.

g) It will load required files from the given path and will prompt for restarting the
machine. Press “YES”

h) After restarting again open Regional option form from control panel and
 Select “Input Locales “ option from the form.

i) Select “add” button and select following option as shown below.

Press OK after selecting the required entries.

j) Regional options form will show following entries.

 Press Ok in order to keep the settings.

k) Russian entry should be selected as “ Set as default” before starting translation

work.
l) Load Microstation V7.1 for opening DGN files.
Microstation should be loaded in following Path:
C:\win32app\ingr\Bentley

m) Following files should be copied in Microstation V7.1, which are required for
translation work.
font.rsc --- copy in C:\win32app\ingr\Bentley\Workspace\system\symb\
lstyle.rsc --- copy in C:\win32app\ingr\Bentley\Workspace\system\symb\
(Use Font type ---194 for Microstation.)

n) Load I-Plot for printing DGN files.

I-Plot should be loaded in following Path:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\ InterPlot.

After completing the above steps Translation work can be started in required
design file by opening Microstaion application. More over it is recommended that
translator should use Russian keyboard for translation work.
