TEMA: COSTUMES IN OTHERS COUNTRIES.

PIURA-PERU
INTRODUCTION

A suit is a garment designed for the purpose of attracting attention. The disguise is
used for artistic, religious and promotional purposes.
THE TYPICAL COSTUME OF ECUADOR

The typical costume of women in ecuador consists of a flat skirt. To this skirt is added
decorations in the bottom with colored ribbons that give a touch to the neutral color of
the skirt.

The secon piece consists of a garment that is usually white or pure gray in some
cases. The sleeves are generally long.

Jewelry and accessories are very important as well. A hat and necklaces are worn
around the neck. Hoops are also very common.
The man consists of a typical Ecuadorian basic garment consisting of black pants and
a colored shirt. An extremely striking poncho with colors that represent the first
inhabitants of the Ecuadorian lands. The man also wears a hat.
MEXICO COSTUME
The costumes of mexico are the result of a mixture between the indigenous
culture and the spanish.

GUADALAJARA COSTUME
In the city of Guadalajara, the costumes of both men and women are calleed
charro suit, these costumes have circled the World.
The woma s suit can be either the mariachi, which is black, and some details
of colors and also the charro hat, or may also include a kind of poncho made
of woolen cloth of sheep, llama, alpaca or other animal.
THE TYPICAL COSTUME OF JAPON

 The Japanese dress consists of a long gown known as "kimono".


 The particular thing of this dress is that the man and the woman are generally
combining each other the color and model of the kimono.
 It refers to the culture of Japan and may contain different models, such as
geometric figures.
 The kimono is characterized by a large cut and novel in the sleeves. The collar is
formed from the fold of the garment to close it. A sash is also another
indispensable detail.
 In both it is placed at the height of the waist with the difference that the one of
the woman is wider and adjusted than the one of the man. The footwear consists
of simple sandals that combine with the colors of the kimono.
 The typical costume of Japan is the visibility of a detailed and careful culture
with everything necessary to achieve a nation ruled by fellowship and equality.
THE TYPICAL COSTUME OF ARGENTINA

 The typical costume of Argentina is called "gaucho" and is intensely related to


Argentine folklore, the national music of this country.
 The man is very representative since he personifies the "Argentine gaucho" to
whom all the customs that the country has been adopted are granted. It is
composed of black pants, a white shirt and above it an open short sleeve jacket.
 There are very important details and care that should always go so that you
know what suit you are talking about.
 These are the red scarf tied frontally with a knot leaving it somewhat loose. The
brown belt he wears is another significant detail as is the boots above the black
pants worn by the gaucho. Without forgetting to mention how important it is that
the man wears a wide hat characteristic of this typical costume.
 The woman plays the role of accompanying very well the gaucho with its
simplicity and customs in sight. It consists of a flat and a sweater that is usually
always long sleeve reaching up to the neck. The woman uses espadrilles which
makes her look very honest. The hairstyle is usually two braids that are located
on both sides of the shoulders.
 The typical costume of Argentina represents very well what the country wants to
show the world: its devotion to keep the traditions and make them known by the
rest of the world achieving a globalized culture and respect for all in an excellent
way.
CONCLUSIONS

 Generally, the typical costumes representing a country are used by ethnic


minorities in their home regions, to distinguish themselves from other countries
and keep their culture and traditions alive. They are linked to the dance, since
they make a whole.
 This dress can be worn for daily use or for special events, whether religious
celebrations such as weddings or christenings or as major parties.
 It usually varies according to sex, age, social status, marital status and economic
situation.
