and explain the importance of the why blood clotting is fundamental to our
healing process.

The purpose of this lab is to see how our blood cells react to a cut and
form a blood clot. When the blood was drying on the slide it created a
sticky blood clot strand. This stand occurs in our bodies to heal a cut
in our skin. The lab showed me the way our skin reacts to a cut and
the way blood reacts to a cut. The bleeding stoped quickly and was
filled by blood. The blood on the outside made a clot as it would on
the inside of my skin. A factor that was not taken into account is if the
poke wasn’t enough so there wasn’t a lot of blood coming out to test
the results correctly. Blood clotting is fundamental in our healing
process because it stops us from bleeding out by filling the gap inside
out. Blood clotting helps us not bleed out and die.
