The Coravin Wine Preservation Opener uses a medical grade needle and a proprietary capsule of Argon gas to pour a bottle of wine
through the cork. The cork is never removed. This helps prevent oxidation, increasing the longevity of the wine. It accomplishes this
by first inserting a hollow needle through the cork. The user then presses a trigger to pressurize the bottle with argon gas. When
the user releases the trigger, the wine pours into the glass. The needle is removed from the cork, a naturally elastic and porous
material, which then reseals, protecting the wine from oxidation and leaving the remaining wine unaffected

This is a dry Riesling. Rieslings are the noblest and finest grape variety of Alsace. It is very different from its German homologue and from
the many other rieslings that are now appearing all over the world. The wine shows youth. The nose is open, pleasant and intense, Racy, we
can feel a dominant of fruity fragrances, citrus, lime, The range of
aromas is reminiscent of the nose, dominated by citrus, lime, spices and ginger as well as white flowers and a fine touch of vanilla. The
finish has a good length.

Burgundy White,France
White Burgundy may just be the Helen of Troy of Chardonnay because nearly everyone who’s ever made Chardonnay has looked towards white Burgundy
as the golden standard. All in all, white Burgundy is just Chardonnay, but the region is also the origin place of the variety, which is by the way, worlds
most planted grape. In Burgundy, the combination of climate, land and tradition produce a wine that is coveted by many and never precisely replicated
anywhere else. Burgundy has 4 quality levels ( there is more information on Burgundy red section ) :

Bonneau Du Martray Grand Cru 2011 Corton Charlemagne 410
Domain Bruno Clair Grand Cru 2008 Corton Charlemagne 420
This is a classy Corton-Charlemagne. This high-class wine exhibits elegance, minerality and power. Always a
wine to keep, it requires 10 to 12 years of ageing to reach the aromatic complexity worthy of a Grand cru.
The 2008 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru has an attractive bouquet with apple blossom, white peach and a
hint of toffee apple on the nose that displays more gumption than others that I have encountered from barrel.
The palate is very well balanced with a crisp line of acidity. There is a touch of salinity here, good weight in the
mouth with dried honey and quince towards the long finish.

change of ownership. The etherealChenin Blanc from Marc Bredif remains a benchmark for the region; delicious, nervy and vividly sketched
when young it morphs into an infinitely complex wine with age taking on characters of dried honey, lanolin and

cherries, cocoa, stony minerality, nutskin, woodsmoke, a nice touch
of fresh herbs and a judicious framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-
bodied and almost flamboyantly sappy at the core, but with striking purity and structural
integrity as well, a great signature of stony soil, ripe tannins and superb length and grip on
the more reserved, but no less pure and dramatic finish., it’s a real “head-turner” when it

Winery of the year 2014

THE STORY OF GRANGE

In 1957, MaxSchubert was asked to show his efforts in Sydney to top management, invited wine identities and personal friends
of the board. To his horror and humiliation the Grange experiment was universally disliked. Even further tastings in Adelaide
resulted in negative opinion. One critic observed, 'Schubert, I congratulate you. A very good, dry port, which no one in their
right mind will buy – let alone drink.' Embarrassed, angry and dejected, Max Schubert's ambitions to make 'a great wine that
Australians would be proud of' were completely destroyed. Grange was dead.

It was the happenstance of distance between senior management in Sydney and winemakers in Adelaide, 1,400 kilometres
apart, which saved Grange. With the help of Magill's assistant general manager Jeffrey Penfold Hyland and Schubert's team of
winemakers, all the experimental Grange was hidden in the underground cellars of Magill and from 1957 to 1959, the 'hidden
Granges' were made without the knowledge of the Penfolds board. Max Schubert continued to source fruit and make his
experiments in secret.

Although management was kept away, friends and associates were occasionally brought in to taste the wines. Some bottles
were even given away. Although considered uncommercial in 1957, news was filtering out about Schubert's unique Grange
Hermitage. A second tasting with the same board members was organised of the 1951 and 1955 vintages, both with bottle age
development, were greeted with enthusiasm (the 1955 went on to have a very successful wine show career). The Penfolds
board ordered production of Grange to restart, just in time for the 1960 vintage. During the 1960s Grange firmed its position
as Australia's most distinguished wine. The rest is history. It marked the beginning of a 'dynasty of wines' that would capture
the imagination of the Australian wine consumer.

Vietti Barolo Castiglione DOCG 2005 Piedmont Italy 169
Before talking about this wine I should explain you a bit about Barolo
Barolo is one of Italy’s greatest wine appellations. In fact many cognoscenti of Italian wines consider Barolo to be
the apex of Italian winemaking. Barolo is sometimes referred to as “the king of wines, and the wine of kings” partly because until the mid-
19th century Piedmont was owned by the noble House of Savoy, the historic rulers of northwestern Italy. And the Savoys had a taste for
Nebbiolo. Nestled into the rolling hills of Langhe, the Barolo
DOCG includes 11 communes, one of which is the town of Barolo Nebbiolo makes highly aromatic and powerful red wines This Barolos is
aged three years, at least two of those years in wood
It is tannic and robust earthy wine 100% Nebbiolo Floral notes are intermingled with dark red fruit, spices and new leather in this piece of
ART.
