Topic: Different types of target marketing benefits and concerns. My field of study is general
marketing, and online target marketing is a popular type of marketing strategy.

This article discusses biometric marketing and how it can be helpful when trying to close the gap
between advertisements and consumers’ interests. This method is compared to traditional
marketing methods which seem to have lower accuracy and unclear results. The author of this
article is an associate professor of Computer Information Systems at the University of Miami,
FL. I will most likely use this information in my paper when discussing online consumers being
targeted.

strategy. The strategy is broken down and explained how it can be effective based on certain

from this article can be used as support when discussing what target marketing can be and the
history of marketing strategies.

how they are used when targeting consumers. The article goes into more detail about the
different types of platforms as well as their individual purposes. This is a credible source because
of the 73 references and its from the Journal of Marketing Research. This is a good example of
target marketing changing for my paper.

negative because of the nutritional information. These concerns are based around the larger issue
which is child obesity. This source is credible because it has 60 references and is from Health
Education. This would be a good example of target marketing for my paper.

when discusses different types of marketing strategies.

strategy as another type of target marketing strategy to explore for my paper.

more specific example for orthopedic practices, but it still gives information on why it is
beneficial to have an online presence. This source is credible because of the 19 references
used. I could use this information when discussing the history of online marketing and how it
has changed.
