Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy of education is the process of

attending to my students need, experiences and feelings

because every child is unique and have something special they

can bring to their knowledge. I will assist my students to

express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as

well embrace the differences of others.

As a future teacher, I believe that children learn as they play

and it has an essential role in different skills of the child such

as creativity and imagination as well as physical, social,

emotional, language and cognitive development. My role as

educator is to provide opportunities for pleasurable play

because playing contributes to children’s general personality

development. According to Montessori “Montessori placed

emphasis on children’s self-initiated learning stating that play


supported the maturity and development of the mind, body

and brain in terms of gaining greater awareness and

sharpening abilities to gather and organize information.

Montessori supported Gross in his view that when children

play, it is their work” (Theories surrounding learning through

play, 2018).
