Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is

fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD. Many waters cannot
quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he
would be utterly despised. Song of Solomon 8:6-7

1 John 4:16-19 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and
whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By thisis love perfected with us, so that
we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There
is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever
fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us

Ruth 1:16-17 But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where
you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my
God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if
anything but death parts me from you.”

Philippians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be
known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of
praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in
me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Colossians 3:12-19 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts,
kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint
against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And
above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of
Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word
of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom,singing psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or
deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be
harsh with them.
