1st Affirmative Speaker

Good afternoon Ms. Chairman, ladies and gentlemen. I am Nola as a first speaker of affairmative.
I will give you our motion today. Our motion today is “This House Support Donation of Sterile
needle injected to drug users”

The definition of the motion is :

1. Drug is any substance (other than food that provides nutritional support) that, when inhaled,
injected, smoked, consumed, absorbed via a path on the skin, or dissolved under the tongue
causes a temporary physiological (and often psychological) change in the body.

From the motion we will give our timeline that has affairmative team absolutely agree to support
donation of sterile needle injected to drug users. Then our parameter today is that we just talk
about donation of sterile needle injected to drug user who used without medical supervision.
Especially in countries with no/low roll-out of needle and syringe programmes and a lack
awareness or education about safe injecting.

Iam as the first speaker I will deliver my argument from health view. Sinta as a second speaker
who will deliver my argument from economic view, and the last Dipa as a third speaker will
rebuttal and summary of our argument. From health view, support donation of sterile needle
injected to drug users can reduce risk of getting and transmitting infectious diseases. Sharing a
needle puts you at risk of infectious diseases, especially HIV, because the needle may have blood
in them, and blood can carry HIV. We have known one of the spread of HIV/AIDS virus is one
of them through the use of non-sterelise needle. If a needle has been used by an HIV-positive
person, infected blood in the needle into the next person who uses that needle can increaseing the
chance of onward HIV transmission. So, donation of sterile needle injected to drug users would be
supported to reduce risk of getting and transmitting infectious diseases from uses non-sterelise
needle or sharing a needle. That’s all about my argument. I return back the time to the chairman.

Thank you moderator, good afternoon lady and gentleman. I am Yoan as first speaker of negatif. The main
problem with our oppositions case is their theme which stateThis House Support Donation of Sterile
needle injected to drug users. I am as the first speaker I will deliver my argument from law view, Jumenek
as second speaker who will deliver my argument from……………….view, and the last Mahendra as third
speaker rebuttal and summary of our argument. Okey first I would like to rebut the first affirmative
speaker. In my opinion, if the support is approved, it will to increase more drug users. Because they feel
have been facilitated so that it is easy to use drugs. So that it can cause them to become addicted. That’s
all for my reason. I will continue to give my argument from law view. In my opinion, using drugs is illegal
because in law view forbidden by government. So by supporting donation of sterile needles it can cause
users to get legal problems.
