The teleCARE IP System Manager NISM2 is an application on the Ascom ELISE3 FE3-NKABAE FE3-NKABAE FE3-NKABAE FE3-NKABAE FE3-NKABAC
module. It is used as a management tool to centrally setup and manage the teleCARE
IP system. The NISM2 is connected to the IP network and stores the configurations for
each of the teleCARE IP Room Controllers and / or Ward Controllers that are
connected to the IP network. The NISM2 user menu offers the system manager a
variety of functions for the installation and configuration of the teleCARE IP system. It
is also used to perform maintenance tasks on the connected controller modules and
for diagnosis of the system in order to find faults or configuration errors.

The teleCARE IP gateway (NIGW) is the modules that is needed to interface teleCARE FE3-NLABAE FE3-NLABAE FE3-NLABAE FE3-NLABAE n.a.
IP to the Unite Messaging Suite for Healthcare.
The gateway runs the interface application software and requires a license. This
license is available on the partner website and is free of charge. Use NIGW-LAA,

the IP network. A teleCARE IP room controller acts as a gateway between the four
digital room buses and the IP network. Available in grey or white. A room controller
controls all the peripherals that are connected to one of its room buses. The room
controller also includes the corridor lamp which consists of a translucent dome cover
that can accept up to four LED boards (which must be ordered separately). The IP
Room Controller can also support three extra Corridor Lamps. The input power can
be supplied over an external power supply bus or it can be distributed over the
ethernet using an internal PoE adapter.

The teleCARE IP Voice Piggyback module (NIVP) is a printed circuit module which is NIVP-AAA NIVP-AAA NIVP-AAA NIVP-AAA NIVP-AAA
piggyback mounted on the teleCARE IP Room Controller 3 (NIRC3). The NIVP allows
existing non speech teleCARE IP installations using the NIRC3 to be upgraded to

module (IAM) and serves as an adapter for existing teleCARE M installations, allowing

functionality to teleCARE IP systems. It contains a 869 MHz RF transceiver. The
transceiver module is piggyback mounted on the NIRC3 room controller and the NIFX
fixed transceiver.

The low frequency beacon NILF is contained in a white plastic enclosure with a slim NILF-AAA NILF-AAA NILF-AAA NILF-AAA NILF-AAA
design that is suitable for surface mounting on walls or at a door post. The NILF
consists of an LF transmitter with a ferrite antenna. The NILF gives realtime location
information to teleCARE IP wireless devices enabling location based wireless nurse
call functionality including access and wanderer control.
